Ocho de Mayo was my 39th birthday, and since it was MY day, I got to do what I wanted, and what I wanted was what I always want…a day at the beach (so in actuality, it wasn’t a lot different from any other weekend). Fortunately, the weather was perfect for sailing. It was blowing snot and the surf was up. I was all set to make a great movie, but brought the wrong mount for the mast-top-cam… Oh well, next time. The footage I got is still fun, and I hope you enjoy it, it’s been a LONG time since I’ve made a movie. This one is especially fun, because I finally got Stace and I in the same movie. A couple more years, and Kai will be able to come out, too!
Loved it! It was a great day – riding those waves for minutes not seconds. Thanks for being our boat friend!
It was an AWESOME day! Thanks for coming out!
That was great! Thanks or sharing.
Wishing you many more Happy Birthday beach days!
Thanks, Dan! Look forward to seeing you out there again soon!
Aloha, Eric
Thanks a lot for your email to me earlier about converting the OC4 to sailing wa’a. My emails were all returned as not digitally secure, sorry! I also tried the .mac address, but no joy there either.
Anyway, I said I was thinking of using windsurfing rigs as they are plentiful here.
Someday would love to come to O’ahu and go for a session on your wa’a pe’a!

Dan,
Replied via email. Good luck with your sailing rig, and don’t hesitate to call whenever you are on Oahu!
Aloha,
Eric
